Could you list the car ferry link? I deleted his post with his home email otherwise I would have contacted him myself. If I recall correctly, this last 2 weeks in July the heaviest traveled to NS as it's the warmest summer weather. The ferries get booked heavily & may cause delays if not booked in advance. If he's on a time schedule, this could mess him up. Don't know if Steve(?) was aware of the Car ferries as previous posts make no mention. I'd hate to see him wait a day or 2 each way waiting to get on a ferry. The Bar Harbor ride is about 6 hours on the sea & maybe still has a Casino. It does save a whole day of driving. Always figure to 2 hours to board & another hour to get car off. ST Johns to NS about a 2 hour ride. As you mentioned, all roads are as slow as maple syrup in Maine. But too many photo ops along the way. 1/3 of my listings are now out of the US. Take care, Dennis
