None of GeeBee's photos are of barges if I recall correctly - many are
of narrow-boats which are a different type of craft altogether.  In
the UK there are very few if any commercial load-carrying river-craft,
and the narrow-boats in GeeBee's photos are all "pleasure boats",
either day-hire, holiday rental, or privately owned.  (My wife used to
work for one of the UK inland-waterways associations...)
