I won't worry much.  My Gossen Luna Pro and Norwood Director (the 
precursor to the Sekonic Studio) act exactly the same way.  Both were 
overhauled and calibrated at the same time by George Milton at Quality 
Light Metric in Hollywood, the "light meter technician to the 
cinemaphotographers of the stars".
