Los Angeles County Fire Department is enroute with their urban rescue teams
and a convoy of heavy equipment. Los Angeles City Fire is also responding.
ETA is 35 hours with the heavy equipment from Pacoima (Los Angeles) to Camp
Shelby, Mississippi.

The nation really IS responding.

The Red Cross and other agencies need our support as well. Money is
the best thing to send. You can specify that it goes to the hurricane
relief, if you desire.
