Feli -

I have over 500,000 negatives catalogued, but I cut them apart, mount
them in slide mounts and file them by country and then
subject. Mounting them separately allows me to group by subject,
throw out the rejects, and have them ready for scanning. The slides
are mounted in archival hanging slide pages in lateral filing
cabinets. My filing system is based on the old PhotoTrack software
with numbers for every country and 99 different subjects.

I'm only about two years behind in mounting negatives ;-) Now if I
just had all 500,000+ scanned!
