It was raining a few days ago. According to the San Jose Mercury News, it
hasn't rained this early since 1948. So like all good photogs, when the
rain stopped, I took couple cameras out and went for picture hunting....

The white color stuff on the edge of the water is salt, not snow. The Bay
Area produces a good percantage of the industrial salt used in this
country. Some groups are buying up some of the salt ponds and converting
them back to marsh land.

I have no idea what the pipe running from the bottom right edge to the left
side carries, but I can attest that the immediate surrounding area stinks
:-) The ladder-like object on the left horizon is the old Dumbarton bridge,
now unused.

The giant electric towers crisscross the bay. On a non cloudy day, you
would see the mountains and the edge of the bay sparkling with lights.

The current Dumbarton bridge.
