No that's Just the thing it's NOT the Leica factory NOW its the Leitz
factory of wonderful days gone by IN 1991 production was moved to in Solms,
5 miles from Wetzlar.. A great thing to check out if they have all these
museum pieces and such but they also have museum pieces and such and ledgers
and you name it in Solms. Where you can watch them make Leicas now. But with
no supervision from the Leitz family who all died off in 86. I can live with
that. Changed it's name from Leitz to "Leica" in 88; only the camera
division with the others unfortunately sold off.
