Tipping my hat toward Europe with a thanks to Nathan and greetings to
all the members of the list who, like my family, will be celebrating
Thanksgiving. For my family it's a very separate one - the first where
none of the children will be home. Our daughter cooking her first
turkey in Minneapolis, one son at this future in-laws in Pittsburgh,
and the other son has the duty on the JIMMY CARTER up in Bangor, WA.

But Nathan reminds me that we all form a different kind of family,
sometimes crabby, sometimes happy, but always human, seeking to be
humane.
