Subject: [Leica] Leica Cassette in an MP?
From: m.user at ntlworld.com (Joe Chan)

My brass cassette fits into my M6TTL but I can't then get my M3 or M2
baseplate to fit. The same thing happens when I try to use the cassette with
my M2 and M3. There must be different designs of cassettes because it does
work with my IIIf.

That is late TTLs only which used parts designed for the M7's DXing
to "harmonize" production. The MP is based on the M6 and "should" be
OK as are early (most) TTLs.
