You are probably very correct in this statement.. but the R+D expense is
tiny.... so why not start with MF lenses and then, if the market response
... technical market response.. is positive, go ahead with the AF
versions.....?  Hype gets sales ......

These guys are not hacks, and they are market driven.  They will figure it
out......

But I can second Mehrdad that manual focus lenses will rather not sell like
sliced bread amongst DSLR users.
