Alastair writ in part:

>I'm home and still shellshocked ;-) With Christmas day tomorrow, I'd
>like to wish everyone a safe and happy day. This is also a chance to
>thank those who met with me on this trip. We had a ball. Dinner in
>Chicago and wandering the burbs of NYC. Thanks to Greg, Bob, Clive,
>Gene and John. Sadly, one of my senior moments has ruined my film
>from the dinner, so I hope there are some other examples out there.
>I'll chase them up from you.
>

But aren't you the guy who has the other Summarex for the intimate
Xmas dinner portraits?

For myself, I've just got a mintish 35/3.5 LTM Summaron for
'ol'4387', my jewel of a Leica I which Wetzlar transmogrified into a
III. Fortunately I have the 35mm Leitz finder already... :-)

See:

for the full and possibly fascinating story of 4387 and mine own Summarex -

and all you LUGgers - have cool Yule.

Best

Alex
