Hi LUGgers and Happy New Year.

I have recently at 2359:

- exited the back door of our house with a broom

- picked up a piece of coal from the bunker

- nipped around to the front door and knocked at midnight precisely

- handed my lovely wife a piece of coal, and wished her HNY in
appropriate fashion

-swept an entire year from the front door out of the back with said broom.

Do you think Leica have anything to learn from this in view of
current chatter? And what is the origin of this strange custom?

Enquiring minds want to know..... :-)

Best

Alex
