Ha!  lots of things, the field will be about four f stops higher  than any 
other part of the room.  
 
When they cauterize things it gets stinky.
 
There is adequate light for available, but it is mixed in color.
 
Depending on the situation, you will probably be six feet from the  action.
 
Make friends with the OR Head Nurse.  She has more power than the  surgeon; 
he is only concerned with the surgery.
 
You might hear some jokes that will curl your ears.
 
The OR is like a Grand Jury room. Al conversations are  confidential. ;-)
