Well, yes.  I still shoot film.  because I have a  cheap, stable way to 
preserve the image for a long time.  It is a  negative.  
 
But then, I can, (and have) shot an assignment on Sunday,  and delivered the 
images via my server, essentially on the art director's  desk Monday morning.
 
Today I delivered a 688 meg image (scanned from an 8x10) to the Louisiana  
State Museum for a mural display.  The original was shot in 1978.  I  took 
the  
8x10 and scanned it today, then placed on the server.   They have it, ready 
to 
make a mural.
 
Whew.  I am conflicted.
