Hi Tina,
Nice moments, both! :-) It's seeing the simple things of human expression
that make great and wonderful life pictures.

One doesn't require great splashy action for interesting pictures as
these both illustrate. One very good lesson out of these is... "reading body
language!"

It's a simple scene, what sorts it out from an ordinary kind of snap shot is
your ability to "SEE" simple things like eyes, body and expressions that
many miss because they don't look at the little things to lift a photograph
from a "so-so exposure" to one that has a magical feeling.

The yawn isn't seen, it's so effective it's felt! :-) Yet it's such a
simple thing. We all have done it either as adults or children, but in this
picture it's so simply story telling! Love it.

The slight forward lean and eyes of the other little girl says it all about
"what's next, what's happening?"

But if the photographer isn't astute enough to "see these little things"
then their photography will always languish along as a collection of "here's
some exposures I did!" As enthusiastic as a wet rag!

Compare the above photog comment to this one, who's as excited as all get
out and exclaims..."You've got to see these man, these little kids were
gorgeous in their facial expressions hanging around waiting." etc etc..

It's simple, if photographers watch for the small moments of life they'll
capture great photographs.

This is Tina Manley picture taking at it's best, than a lot of the earlier
material in crowd scenes banging your head against the wall due to
beaureaucratic nonsense.

Good ones girl, good on you. :-)
