Subject: [Leica] Weekly canal walk

We thought Spring was coming at the beginning of the week - No chance!
it's snowed again, and it's snowing now.
The weekly canal walk had to be moved to Thursday - the gulls are hungry
(Gulls always are) but these have started "mobbing" people who cross the
canal bridge. At least we haven't got the avian flu around Hannover yet
- but in the North quite a few swans , geese and ducks have already died
- and one cat. So, it is transferrable to mammals.

Cropped out of an otherwise pretty bad shot, I personally like the
sharpness of the eye and beak and the soft effect on the fast moving
wingtips

http://gallery.leica-users.org/New-Old-Pictures/MG_3574_edited_2 Did it
before - on the other bank, but I still like the diagonals
http://gallery.leica-users.org/New-Old-Pictures/MG_3575_edited_2 The
other walk along the canalside

Barge/Bow wave
http://gallery.leica-users.org/New-Old-Pictures/MG_3571_edited_2 Nearly
too close for comfort
