The one I was referring to is only about 20 ft high, red and sits on a low 
shelf 
of rocks at the mouth of whichever estuary it is. Don't think that it is at 
Hartlepool though.

Thanks for showing the pictures of Whitby again. The one on top odf 
thecolumn 
always amusess me. Early Victorian I presume.
