Subject: [Leica] Getting off topic politically - an occupational hazard

I think if most LUGers were photographic novices, it would be the other way
around. But all of us have tried just about everything photographic at least
once, so it isn't news.

Hi Jeffery,

I have a fair amount of experience meeting LUGgers in person. I have met
people from this list in France, Spain, Switzerland, Denmark, UK, New
York, Philadelphia, and of course many times here in the Benelux. The
people are different, the settings are different, but two things are in
common:

1) Invariably the meeting is pleasant and interesting;
2) Photography and gear make up a tiny percentage of the conversation.
