Well, Lew, how much is it new?  I generally buy new Leica parts when I am
missing something though I am not certain that these hoods are still
available.

You have several options.  First, check the Usual Suspects -- Midwest,
Brooklyn Camera Exchange, Woodmere, PacRim, Rits (the one in Arizona) and
the like, as well as eBay.  Your lens might take 41mm filter threads -- not
all 1.4/35 Summilux lenses did so, so you might want to check this -- and
if it does, I'd opt for the purchase of a Series V or VI 41mm filter
adapter and hood from Harrison & Harrison in California.  Great guys,
quality merchandise, and rather inexpensive -- I suspect that these would
cost you $35 or less.
