Bill,
I'm loving it. In the mid-sixties I had two heros: Spiderman and Jim Clark.
My parents interest fed mine, and I think I was nine when they first gave me
a subscription to Road & Track for Christmas. Richie and Phil in the pits is
terrific, and the shot of Colin Chapman in a T-Bird is priceless.
Cheers,
 Arche

Here are some more fan-views from the 1963 USGP in Watkins Glen. Taken with
off-topic hardware, on Ektachrome, carefully stored in a closet.

Starting with Richie Ginther (L) and Phil Hill in the garage. The next day
Richie finished second in a BRM, Phil was DNF with an oil pump in his
Ferarri.

and next five images.

Tony Maggs didn't finish, Jo Bonnier was 8th in a Cooper/Climax (always
loved that name). Historical details not from memory, but from Formula 1
database on the web. My earlier sequence of black and white images starting
http://gallery.leica-users.org/album303/Driver_w I have determined were from
the 1966 USGP.
