The colour photographs come out of a Canon DSLR, sorry (not really, horses
for courses and all that ?).
To David Keenan:
Yes, Silverfast is one giant kludge. I'm not so fond of cryptic buttons,
losing the connection to the scanner, disappearances of those darned buttons
and so on. But, you know, you get used to it. It's called ergonomics ;-)
Vuescan is fine, too, I just couldn't justify buying it after Silverfast.
