seems that the subway riders are making an attempt the preserve their  
space, and the subway shooter is making an attempt to invade that  
space...

sure sounds like a setup for looks of isolation, alienation,  
noncommunication,  even hostility...

it would worry me to shoot under these circumstances... trying to  
penetrate their cocoon...or show it.

I would never dare shoot in France in this setting, and while the US  
seems more favorable, I wouldn't do it here...

I have to hand it to BD for his strength and courage in committing to  
this project.
