Subject: [Leica] Jupiter lens ID

Well, I have two Industars and a FED. I gather that the FED is a better
shooter. I also have an old chrome 50/2 with that KMZ logo on it. I thought
that it was a Jupiter 8. It has some spelling on it that looks like ???TEP-8
on it along with the light ray passing through the trapezoid prism. Is that
a Jupiter?

You might be able to find your logo here:

look very similar in profile. The 2,8/55 has a logo on the front that looks
like a bi-convex lens element on top of a bi-concave lens element.
