Welcome,
A darkroom eh?  I can relate.  After a brief and frustrating time with 
digital ink jet printing I also went back into the dark.  After about one 
year of 8x10 I up-graded everything to 16x20.  And damn those big fiber 
prints are nice.  Good luck.
