Richard:

I know the feeling, if only for just two plus hours.

The short story is that I left a shiny new Halliburton case full of 
cameras/lenses on a raised bench area in a passageway at SF airport.

Home to Berkeley where I realized that it was missing and then instantly 
pictured it sitting back on the peninsula... where I found it.

Hope someone honest found yours.
