George,
In my experience, there are thousands of printed pages on someone else's 
opinion of how we have to look at, see and hear things.
Most of which is absolute guff - with very few exceptions. The only 
value of most of these is to the author - as a source of income - a list 
like the LUG has far more value, as you always have the opportunity to 
gather a mass of information and viewpoints - and the opportunity to ask 
why a shot is good or bad -  in more or less real-time. The experience 
and expertise gathered here, on virtually any subject you care to 
mention, is second to none.
