The GD politician idiots running our country, and no I did not vote for any of them who were "a questionable Government" at the time.Not that all governments aren't questionable! I've always admired submariners as one might say, it's not one of the easiest of the military services at anytime. And as crazy as I am, I always thought it was the neatest of the services... you know that secretive "Run silent, run deep" kind of thing. Of course other than flying in Mustangs. ;-) My negative comments were really about our idiot government for buying old mothballed crocks from the UK, machines that in reality should have been used for targets and not bought by the brainless fools who ran our country at the time. I believe of the 5 submarines Canada bought all are in dry dock being completely over hauled costing millions of dollars more than what they were paid for! Nothing more than junk! In the attempt at sailing one of them from Scotland to Canada, a major fire broke out, one young officer died, 2 or 3 others were in pretty sad shape. The Boat was in such bad shape it was towed back to Scotland or wherever, then made some what sea worthy and towed to Canada right into dry dock! So much for the brilliance of our lying SOB bird brain politicians !!! Sorry I should've made it clearer that it was the damn useless morons that have run this country who couldn't run a "Chicken Ranch" successfully that my negative sounding comments were intended about. Not only did their stupidity cost a fine young officer his life, they threw away millions buying this junk. Without going on any more, hopefully I've cleared myself regarding how I feel about submariners. And obviously how I feel about politicians. ted
