What's really cool is that it works with non-VR lenses (and I can use it
with my 50/1.4 M42 Takumar).

Last week, I got a Pentax K100 with  anti-shake.  Today. B&H delivered  a 
40mm Pentax 40DA lens.   It is a tiny thing, about an inch off the mount.  I

decided to give the rig  a test tonight, and used Pookie as a victim.  This
is 
hand-held  1/8th  of a second at f2.8.  Very cool, that anti shake  stuff.
