Subject: [Leica] Lightning strikes, now asparagus

Thanks for all the asparagus recipes but it is a matter of her simply  
not liking asparagus. I have steamed, sauteed, grilled, garnished,  
etc many, many different ways. It could be a matter of texture I  
suppose but, after ten years, the time for experimentation is long over.

Lest you think she is demanding I should also point out that I am not  
fond of cauliflower* and brussels sprouts**. As I do most of the  
cooking this has not been much of an issue over the years.

*There is one recipe I like for cauliflower so all is not lost.

** My first clue to the ultimate demise of my first experiment in  
marriage was a dinner that was solely composed of a plateful of  
brussels sprouts; a towering plate and they weren't fresh either!  
Further proof of the not being too perceptive angle of the original  
thread, this happened years before the marriage ended :-)
