Jeffery, I think you are a collector and serious expert on 50mm old lenses,
I had a Summicron "rigid", and very pleased with his special charachtere,
I'm very happy with these pictures:

but my lens had some fungus and gives some haze, on the other hand I've
appreciated that this lens is like a delicate woman you should clean it
really carefully, or even, not clean, cleaning it, the front element becomes
worst..., finally I've sold it.

I have a 3,5/5cm nickel Elmar and I'm very happy with it. I've used the
Summitar many years ago, a nice lens but with a clear tendency to flare.
