Instead of the bulky 16-18-21, the new Zeiss ZM 18mm/f4 lens 
http://tinyurl.com/qc8ns might be a better solution. Add a few steps for- 
and backward and you have a perfect Tri-Distagon. Choose one finder that 
suits your camera (fullframe film/18, M8/24 or R-D1/28), keep it on the 
camera while you step for- and backward and you'll have your own varifinder.

I'm tempted to buy it for my R-D1, together with the Voigtlander 28 
minifinder.
