I had a lot of issues with clogging. I don't know which was worse, wasted time or wasted ink. Clogging I've noticed seems to be hit and miss. Some people/printers have problems, some very little. My HP never clogged. Ink was expensive, though. Handles a really wide variety of papers very nicely using just the sliders in the driver. No profiling/curves required. Mix neutral and warm inks for the tone one likes. Maybe I'll unclog mine someday (months and months of illness inspired neglect). I print a bunch of 5x7" because I just like that format plunked into an inexpensive 8x10 frame with matte - and some 8x10" prints as well. I routinely just printed 2 5x7 on a sheet of 8.5x11 paper and cut them. Definitely worth a try, especially if one can get a C8* on discount. It really works well with near zero learning curve.
