Sorta, Walt, but they did volunteer with some unspoken contract that  
they would not be thrown into danger for the whims of some nut case  
political theoreticians or would-be king. There's a pretty big  
stretch from the Constitutional "defense" of the country to the neo- 
con BS we are dying for today.
