I downloaded the trial version of Capture One, which is the software 
bundled with the M8, and it fixed the magenta faces.  It has a 
setting for converting the M8 DNG files and the color is perfect.  I 
do normally use a MacBeth color checker for critical color work, but 
this wasn't work.  This was just fun ;-)
