Subject: [Leica] Testing chart
From: dlp at pacific.net (Donna-Lee Phillips)

I seem to remember having set of charts, grids, color and grey patches
for use in testing a Leica (or other 35mm). They provided information on
where the lens was in focus, how accurate the settings, etc. I can't
find anything but my grey and color patches. I inherited a IIIf I want
to test before putting it up for sale, but I have to be able to do this
at home.

Does anyone know what charts and grids etc I am remembering, if
inaccurately? And if so, where can I obtain them? I have a number of
other Leicas to put back into use after a long time in storage, and
while those are my user cameras, I'd like to have some baseline or
benchmark for knowing whether they are OK.

Thank you,

Donna-Lee
