Jeffery,

I wouldn't wait. Microsoft's new Vista OS, when it is finally released, is 
going to be kind of buggy for awhile and I don't think that you want to be 
an early adoptor.

I just ordered Melissa a new notebook from Dell and with on-line available 
discount coupons, a free hard drive upgrade and free shipping it was a 
pretty good deal.

I'm still specing out my new desktop but I see Dell offers either a free or 
$25 upgrade to MS Vista when it becomes available next year.
