Thanks Neal.
The ZI marketing is an interesting area. The clamp down on the "grey market"
imports had an unfortunate side effect of reducing the
options where the official distributor is not representing as widely (or in
our case, at all!) In the US of A, Stephen Gandy's
exclusion meant the loss of a valuable resource both for info and possible
purchase. The Australian situation appears to parallel
this, with the Voigtlander/Cosina dealer abandoning their ZI stockholdings.
These folks are completely committed and enthusiast film
camera supporters so that is a shame. My Leica dealer had one or two items,
but was unable to source any further stock last time I
asked. That dealer has good used Leica stocks but is about 1000 miles each
way so is a bit of a commute.
If you have a web presence, maybe you could let me know off list?
Cheers
Hoppy

Hoppy,

If you are interested in any of the Zeiss lenses let me know, we will be
stocking several of them and we will ship to OZ. Although
you can't get hands on, I'll be glad to answer any questions you may have
about them. BTW their view finders are beautiful, much
nicer than Leica's.

Neal
