I will of course participate, but I want to choose the two images carefully, especially since they will appear alongside work by people whom I respect very much. So I am going to choose this weekend and send the 2 files to Jim Sunday night. We are still 2 weeks from the deadline, so I would expect that he will have no problem getting to the 30 participants. And if not, let's say there are 24 on December 30th--then I agree with your suggestion and hope Jim does too.
