No, Philippe I'm an M guy. I have R lenses on my Canon 1Ds MkII (would
SOMEONE slap around the people at Canon so they come up with a naming
convention that makes SENSE???). I have two M6 ttl's and an M8 on
order. Which may, or may not, have a real shutter that's timed and
everything....

Which is why I asked about the flash on the M8 and was treated by a
polemic by some folks I respect instead of useful information. Hence
my own indignant response which was probably a bit over-wrought but
hey, this IS the LUG after all.

Did someone should "Food fight!"?
