Hi Steve,
I had the same happen on a 24 asph not too long ago.

There are three very small inset screws set at 120 degrees one from  
the other on the front barrel that get loose over time. You'll need a  
very tiny Allen wrench to tighten them. You can also use a mini  
Phillips screwdriver small enough to engage the angles of the  
hexagonal socket in the screw heads.
