Nelson,

See some Mongolia ( Outer i.e. People's Republic of) pictures on
www.vanhulsenbeek.com.
They were taken in the summer of 2001, and even then in the mountains it was
freezing cold at night.
M6 with 15 (VC) and Leica 24, 35 and 90 mm (all Asph) with Velvia 50.

In February in Outer Mongolia, expect snow, ice, and perhaps also dust.
Electricty could be absent or unreliable outside bigger cities. Charging
batteries, and keeping them warm would be the main problem for digital.

Your 2xM6 setup with added Bronica seems to be a wise choice. Certainly take
the 90mm, for portraits. Lots of film: exotic does not even describe these
places.

It would be interesting to see however how a digital system keeps up: is
that your PS?

Best regards
Sander,
