Ah yes. But now we have a very special body, the M8, that will do
things that no other M can do. I already have the parts in place, a
Viso III, a bellows II, the UOOYW adapter with the EL Nikkor
attached. I've been practicing on the M6 body. Works like a champ.
This is for UV and IR photos. To me kludgey means fun.
As for the Telyt I will mount it on a Canon EOS body with the R-EOS
adapter. That will give me AE and a 640mm telescope (ref to film).
Now if you could find me a viso tube I could use it on my Nikon
bodies as well. I think the Telyt's are getting hard to find and
that's what's driving the high price. Check out Tamarkin.

With the M8 I'll be using the WA lenses more then ever. I have the
21, 24 and 28mm Elmarit (non-Asph). All were bought new. I still have
the boxes, etc. Still look new. The 28 might become available as it's
duplicated on my Tri-Elmar. I can't commit until after the M8 gets a
workout.

As for the 28mm. My son bought the 28/2 Summicron. He now wishes he
had my Summarit. He's bothered by the vignetting of the Summicron. He
just spent the better part of an evening correcting shots taken in
the Utah canyons. Lots of clear blue sky.
