Subject: [Leica] Nikkor 50/1.4 LTM

Too bad, had I known I could have bought into the
ranks of collectors of infinite variations of 50mm
lenses. ;-) LTM lenses of various kinds seemed
adequately well represented, albeit at a price, at the
San Jose Photo Fair. The things that were relatively
thin on the ground were Pentax K and KA mount primes.
(?) All other SLR stuff seemed to be total drugs on
the market.

Returning to the question, is the Nikon LTM also a
Sonnar derivative? Any reason to prefer the Canon or
the Nikon, scarcity factor aside?

Peter.
