Eric, George, Jayanand, thanks for looking and for your enthusiastic 
comments,  Maybe the frozen hands were worth it :-)

Eric, what's reflected in the Goshawk's eye is the shadow side of the 
hotel with the sun about to break above the horizon.  I'm probably in 
there too in the shadows.
