Hugh, That may be. I'm as upset with this problem as Howard is. I've
been using a San Disk 12 in 1 reader for a couple of years now.
However my Nikon and Canon SLR's use Compact Flash and I've never had
a problem with San Disk or Lexar cards. I have a little Canon SD450
that uses SD cards. Again no problem with the San Disk Extreme III 1G
card. I used that card in the M8 when the new card wouldn't work. It
worked fine in my old reader. When I got the M8 I didn't want any
problems so I bought something on Leica's approved list and it didn't
work initially until I changed readers. I have 3 computers, a G5 Mac.
a G4 iMac and a windows machine. The reader and card didn't work on
any of them. I'm going to buy another 2 G card (I like Sandisk, might
try the Extreme III or a Lexar) and hope it works with my old reader.
The little reader I'm using now is SD only. I hate being so wordy on
this problem but if anyone else has this problem, I want them to have
a little history.

Keep shooting those nice M8 images,
Len
