Make sure you try it with your or "a" camera on it.
And on your or "a" tripod.

And I think you have to study the designs and price lists between the REALLY
RIGHT STUFF and KIRK (not a Star Trek reference I'm sure) plates and L
brackets. I think I got most mine from RRS. Forgot why. More compact maybe.
You don't have to pay extra for the Arca Swiss attachment. Something like
that.
But Arca Swiss is really great stuff.
Beam me up!
A tripod is a terrible thing to waste.
Quick plates get you using them more. And enjoying them more.
And you can just quickly with great drama grab the thing right off the
tripod when things get real frantic and go "look!" No tripod! Amazing! A
free floating camera in space! - never been done! What an invention!
