[Leica] Best camera deal ever

I don't recall ever getting any super deals on a camera like the ones you
folks are describing, but a friend recently found a Rollei 35 at a yard sale
for $10.  He kept a straight face and talked the seller down to $5.  Sold it
on ebay for $300+.

My own best deal really isn't a deal but an increase in value.  I attended
an opening at MoMA in NYC in 1976 -- William Eggleston's first major museum
show and MoMA's first major one-person show of color art photography.  I
bought a museum catalog of the exhibit for either $16 or $26 IIRC.  A couple
of years ago one of these catalogs went at auction for ~$700 at PhotoEye in
Santa Fe.  Mine has an invitation with it hand-written by his wife Rosa so
it should bring a good price.

Oh, I just remembered.  I bought a Nikon minifinder for 35mm RF lenses years
ago.  Probably paid $35 for it.  Now they've become ridiculously expensive
-- like over $1000 I've heard.
