As a former New Englander, I feel your pain. Take .6 mg colchicine a  
day and eat all the shrimp and lobster you want. Not that you can get  
real lobster down where you are. Double the dose if you feel a twinge  
of gout coming on. Otherwise take pleasure in that you have a disease  
associated with English nobility.
