Terry,

I'm only coding my wide angles. Except for seeing which lens was used  
in the EXIF data, I see no reason to code above 35mm. I have filters  
on all my lenses except those which take 60mm filters and see nothing  
wrong with 50mm and above. I can't speak for the Noctilux but I don't  
see vignetting and coding won't make it focus better.
