Hi Daniel,

Actually Lighthroom doesn't do anything with your files.
It keeps a database of what you want to do with the file.
When you're ready Lightroom makes a new file(exporting) with the 
adjustments. But the original files are untouched. Like a raw converter.
I'm not sure yet about the tagging. I haven't tried it yet. Another 
thing Lightroom can't do is keeping track of my backup DVD's. as Tina I 
use iview media pro for that. i also use that for the tagging. But I'm 
pretty sure Lightroom can do that also.
